Admission Process

1) Application

Admission to our program begins with the parents' or guardians' submission of a completed Application for Admissions on behalf of the child. The application form can be filled in online, or a registration packet is available to pick up at the School. Please note we cannot process your child’s admission until all paperwork is complete.

2) Documents required with the application

• A recent passport size photo (4) • Student’s Civil ID (Both sides) • Student’s Birth Certificate • Student's Health/Immunization record • Student’s Passport (Non-Kuwaiti) • Father’s Civil ID (Both Sides) • Mother’s Civil ID (Both Sides) • Father’s Passport (Non-Kuwaiti) • Mother’s Passport (Non-Kuwaiti) • Copy of certificate of disability (Kuwaiti) • Copy of Higher Council letter of transfer (Kuwaiti) • Copy of available medical reports & recent one • Copy of previous school reports and evaluations • Child's medical file NOTE: Applications will only be reviewed after PADA documents are received (Kuwaiti only) so please ensure to upload clear and readable documents to avoid any delay in reviewing your application.

3) Parent and Child Interview

Once paperwork is complete, we will call to arrange an appointment to interview parents and to meet your child. This meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to tell us about your child and his/her needs, and what you are looking for in a school. NOTE: According to MOE rules, the father’s presence in person is mandatory during the registration process. If divorced, the mother needs to submit the appropriate custody papers and court order showing educational custody carrier.

3) School Records and Medical Records

Once paperwork is complete, we will call to arrange an appointment to interview parents and to meet your child. This meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to tell us about your child and his/her needs, and what you are looking for in a school.

4) Application Fees

A non-refundable Application & Assessment fee of KD 20 must be to complete the child's application process.
Parents will be notified of their child’s acceptance as soon as processing is complete. Once accepted parents are required to complete the following: 1. Provide HOPE School with the transfer documents from the child's previous school. This document must be submitted to the Registrar before the start of the school year. 2. Provide HOPE School with the student's medical file before the first day of school. This is a requirement by the Ministry of Education.
